Conquer the 5 Circles of Reality through combat challenges, resource management and discovering secrets. Each Circle having their own random pool of enemies and bosses. Will you face a favorable foe or be mercilessly crushed by the cruel fates?
1. Mix of Strategy and Action - Time is given each turn to plan your actions, while having limited time to execute them once you commit to the turn. Rise above the challenge by having solid strategy as well as keen reflexes.
The core combat system of Starscribed tests your dexterity by having EVERY skill exist in 2 variants that can be access through the input.
Hitting the falling weapon with the lightning will determine the property of the skill used, changing its target scope, element or perhaps completely change what that skill does.
Additional bonus if you can land a much harder timing, striking the floating lightning ring. This will further grant minor bonus to your selected skill as well as contribute towards unlocking the hidden arts your characters possess.
2. Player Expression - Choose a party of two within a cast of eight unique characters, each with their own attributes and playstyles. Discover augment jobs that allows for a huge possibility of customization to play to your strengths or to cover for your shortcomings.
3. Meaningful Encounters - Tired of palette swaps with more stats? Each and every one of the foes are balanced by their behaviors and their access to their own thematic skills. Upon defeat they may drops a unique gear, bearing their name called a 'Warprint' that allows you to wield their signature powers when equipped. Had a cool battle with a monster you really like? Try to obtain its 'Warprint' and use their strategies against future foes.

What's the difference between this and Starscribed?
Starscribed, which is currently still in development, is your standard game with progression tied to the narrative. In here we have a none canon mode where you can just have at it with the core combat system that both game shares. Due to the learning curve, I've included the first chapter of Starscribed to double as a slow-paced tutorial, because why not?
